Hi, I’m Aliya Lark — composer, producer, and sound designer.
I create music that lives between genres — from neoclassical and electronic  to experimental sound art. 

My music lives somewhere between the cinematic and the intimate — blending electronic textures, neoclassical harmony, and the raw emotion of sound itself. I’m drawn to contrasts: noise and silence, fragility and strength, structure and improvisation.

I started my path as a performer and composer in Russia, playing in bands and writing music that connected emotion with storytelling. Over the years, I’ve released albums, written for theatre and collaborated with visual artists. These experiences shaped my sense of sound as something alive — something that carries memory, space, and feeling.

Today, I focus on creating piano music and sound design that speak quietly but deeply — exploring how sound can reveal what words cannot.
